who we are it's not just about the work

We are a small business located in Lincoln, Nebraska. KDesign was officially founded in 2004 and is owned and operated by me, Kelly (Bowen) Diekmann. I know what I'm good at and for everything else I work with professional design and programming contractors to give my clients the best products and services available to meet their needs and budgets. I'm your one contact - no account manager, creative director, design intern and pre-press guy to deal with. Just me.

If you want qualifications: I have an MBA with a Marketing emphasis and a BS in Information Systems with minors in Math, Spanish and Art. I have a rare skill set that uses both sides of the brain. I can do creative design as well as technical coding - both of which are required for a great performing website.

More important than my business is my family, which is why I do what I do from home with my sidekick (and daughter), Charly. My apologies in advance for a 3 year old getting progressively louder in the background of phone conversations! Baby Zoe joined the team in April, 2011... we are busy girls!

plaid Stands for Pediatric Liver Aid. Some friends of ours went through every parents' nightmare when they discovered their baby had liver disease that would require a transplant. Thankfully, Abby got her transplant is is doing GREAT! This site tells the families' stories and provides information about the disease and how to help.

a lighted path I was really excited to have the opportunity to work on this project. A friend's sister is in the process of opening an orphanage in Malawi, Africa. She hopes to provide children with much better living conditions than they have currently.
